Blackwell offers full-service structural engineering services on a consultative basis, covering any or all phases of project models, including schematic design, design development, contract documentation, shop drawings and contract administration, and site visits and reviews. We can also work with you on feasibility studies, peer reviews, and the development of ideas leading to projects using new building technologies or techniques. Our designers and drafting team members work in AutoCAD & Revit. Many of our team members are LEED-accredited.

In 2024, Blackwell acquired Ojdrovic Engineering, a firm with over 20 years of renown experience in the structural rehabilitation and retrofitting of such heritage buildings as Parliament Hill’s West and East Blocks and the Supreme Court of Canada Building in Ottawa, Royal St. George’s College in Toronto, and Province House in Charlottetown.
