Established in 1987 and based in Toronto, Blackwell is proud to deliver innovative structural solutions tailored to the diverse needs of our clients. In March 2023, we reached a new milestone with the appointment of Brooke Guzar as our inaugural CEO. Brooke brings over 15 years of experience in structural engineering, spanning bridges, institutional buildings, sculptures, and custom residential projects. Her leadership embodies our commitment to innovation and excellence in every project we undertake.

Our comprehensive services cover every phase of project development, including schematic design, design development, contract documentation, shop drawings, contract administration, and site visits. We also offer specialized services such as condition assessments, feasibility studies, peer reviews, and the exploration of new building technologies and techniques.
