Blackwell was involved in the extensive renovations to this heritage building from the late 1800s. The project included performing a seismic upgrade to the existing building followed by a single storey steel framed addition. Modifications to existing elevators and classrooms (for the purposes of expansion) included steel framing to support column and beam removals, as well as a single-post switchback steel stair cut into existing floor space.
