Montgomery’s Inn was originally built in 1830 for Thomas and Margaret Montgomery. The Inn served as a meeting place for the local community and also provided food and shelter to travellers. Today, the Inn remains a tangible link with the early days of Etobicoke and a significant heritage resource for visitors from near and far. The project involved reconfiguration of the existing staircase to improve accessibility, a new entrance vestibule, a new elevator, and several new large windows in the existing walls.
