Formerly known as Nepean Point, this spectacular lookout located on the Ottawa River and adjacent to the National Gallery of Canada, underwent a significant revitalization with a number of key improvements. The new park includes two levels of lookout with vistas facing the capital region and parliament buildings, an architectural shelter named whispering point, a new pedestrian bridge that spans over St. Patrick Street that connects Major’s Hill Park to the new lookout, and improvements to the park’s landscape, accessibility, and interpretation elements.
